About The Founders
about the founders
Rattle me that is the brainchild of friends and entrepreneurs Justyna Kulaga and Sarah Anderson. Based in downtown New York City, the duo met their first day at Parsons School of Design, when both had relocated to NYC to pursue careers in the design industry.
With new additions to their families, nieces Ophelia and Olive, born in 2013, the need for finding beautiful, unique, and handcrafted baby gifts suddenly took on an added importance. Thus initiated the concept of creating a curated online boutique to bring back a certain thoughtfulness to gifting. Gifts with a story, elegantly presented to make a most memorable impact. Highlighting emerging brands and traditional favorites, each gift is carefully selected based on its artisanal craftsmanship, a commitment towards sustainable design, and ability to live as an heirloom piece for generations to come.
Justyna holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Waterloo. She relocated to NYC in 2006 to study Fashion Design at Parsons. She has worked for Roberto Cavalli, Jones NY and is currently at LVMH. She leads with a vision and specializes in business strategy.
Sarah received her B.A. degree in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She worked in the political arena prior to her move to NYC in 2006, including several years as a legislative advisor on Capitol Hill. Her degree in Fashion Marketing led to positions with boutique specialty brands in fashion accessories, beauty, and home décor. Her expertise rests in Digital Marketing and Communications.
